emotions are useful signals. generally my response and the typical response is to overreact to them. but they do provide information.

  1. take the information.
  2. breathe. let go.
  3. reflect on the emotion, not too much, but not too little.
  4. sometimes, act.

simple. but a lot of our neuroses come from not following this.

a lot of the time, we don't act when we should, and act when we shouldn't; we reflect too much, or not at all; we don't breathe.
