write like u text

i’ve been writing like i text on the blog

it’s in part bc i haven’t written more formally in a while and also bc some of these i’m legitimately typing on my phone in the moments before bed (like rn)

but also i’ve actually always gravitated towards the rhythm of only a few sentences in a paragraph (slang and abbreviations aside)

when i was in a fiction writing class, a teacher pointed it out, and likened it to poetry

however, it’s weak in developing complex logical arguments. for a complex piece, it‘s best if you organize your thoughts into larger paragraphs with topic sentences etc (and have some capitalization lol)

but on the other hand, it’s very comprehensible and gives the reader quick dopamine hits

i’ll play with it and see where it goes
