I feel pretty inspired about life after 30.

Mostly because last Friday I read about this father traveling with his toddler:

Why every father should bring his toddler out for a mini adventure.
Sometime late last year, I found some spare time in my work schedule. My daughter was slightly more than 2 years old, and I noticed her…

And this lady moving to France and learning the language after 70:

I Was The Oldest Person In The World
Or so I thought a decade ago

Seeing people travel at different stages of life makes me cheerful about aging. Like, I do anticipate stress about societal expectations (children, marriage, house) and do eventually expect wrinkles, funerals, and a hip replacement.

But I'm still cheerful, since there's fun ahead too.

I'm also excited about parenting. Seeing Derek Sivers enjoy parenting and Paul Graham enjoy parenting gets me excited too.

And I like seeing older people write, like this British guy Roger Darlington and the basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Here's to growing older 🥂
