writing makes me feel seen - by myself

writing makes me feel like

-my interiority
-my memories
-my muses
-my little stray thoughts

are all important

in this way, the act of putting pen to paper makes me and my thoughts feel special and valued. even if no one reads it

specifically, what makes writing special is that you get to monologue at length, without worrying about holding anyone captive. i don't monologue much in real life, out of concern for my listeners (except for that one time i talked about my korea trip for 30 minutes to mahesh/justin ty both for listening, i held that presentation close to my heart).

but if you don't monologue at length, are the deepest parts of you bared to the world to be seen? no. that's why writing is so precious

all of this relates to why it's often not a good idea to answer the questions people ask you. more on that and "conversational tennis" tomorrow.
